Well, we all know about social media and teens, never seen those two without one another. But there are many dangers on social media which especially target teens. Scams and grooming.
When are teens targeted?
This happens when teens are on social media way too much. Make sure you set limits for your teens. This also happens when teens are desperate for money or are lonely. Talk with your teen about getting a job and give them a weekly allowance of at least $10. Make sure your home is a safe place from judgement, and talk with your teens about their social life, if you see them lonely try to enroll them into classes like art class, sports, music class, and many more.
Who?
Similar to the When, teens who are lonely, desperate for money or social life, or insecure get targeted and fall for Scams and child predators.
Just have a safe judgement free environment.
